Activities and Achievements
The Willard Academic Boosters Club has a display case located in The Commons of Willard High School. Our goal for the display case is to recognize students and groups of students that excel in academics. Please take a minute and watch the monitor as it scrolls through pictures and recognizes students for high academics.
At the beginning of each school year, the Willard Academic Boosters Club is busy with a membership drive and tailgate fundraiser. With the accumulated funds, activities and awards are planned to encourage and recognize the academic growth of students in the Willard City School District. Most of the activities of the Willard Academic Boosters Club are yearly; however, some activities are planned according to need and/or financial capabilities. The Academic Boosters Club is a great way for the school, home and community to work together to promote learning.
Again, if you are interested in becoming a member or would like to assist this organization in any way, contact the Willard Academic Boosters Club. We would like to thank all of the businesses and community members that are already members. Listed below are some of the activities and achievements of our organization. We are proud to be able to encourage and honor the students and teachers in Willard.

Teacher Grants
In the past few years, the Willard Academic Boosters Club has awarded Teacher Grants ($250 each) to teachers. There is an application form that is filled out and submitted at the end of the school year.
In choosing recipients, a grant committee is formed which reviews all applications and ranks their choices. The grant committee then presents their choices to the Willard Academic Boosters Club for a final vote. The members of the grant committee are members of the Academic Boosters Club but are not teachers of the Willard City School District. Teacher names are removed from all grant applications while being considered for approval.
It is our pleasure to encourage teachers to be innovative and excited about teaching.
