I am very excited to be a part of the Willard City Schools as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction. Ultimately, it is my responsibility to help prepare our students to be college and career ready as well as life-long learners. My goal is to keep the teaching staff current with innovative teaching strategies and best instructional practices in addition to the never ending changes and updates made at the state and federal levels. Another goal is to ensure that our students are utilizing the best resources available and receiving rigorous and relevant instruction in pursuit of providing the best education possible. Therefore, my primary responsibilities include overseeing the following:

• PK-12 Student Instruction

• PK-12 Curriculum and Textbook Adoptions

• Testing, Assessment, and Reporting

Our mission at Willard City Schools is to demonstrate I CARE 2, with an explicit focus on instruction, communication, application based lessons, reading and math, plus environment and expectations.
